    MenuTecs is suitable for almost all companies in the gastronomy and hotel industries. You also need a valid credit card and an working internet connection .

  • How can a guest access my digital menu?

    All a guest has to do is to scan a QR code of your digital menu with their own smartphone and then open it in the browser. The QR codes for your digital menu are suitable for displays and stickers and can be downloaded from your administration area.

  • How does the ordering process work?

    With MenuTecs, a guest can select and order products via your digital menu on their own smartphone. For the ordering process, your guest will need a verified payment method so that the payment process can then be carried out safely and reliably.

  • How does the payment process work?

    An already registered guest can use MenuTecs to pay for their previously placed order securely and reliably via your digital menu using a verified payment method, either immediately after accepting the order or at the end of their visit. The ability to pay for everything in one transaction at the end of the visit means your company incurs lower fees.

  • Can a guest tip?

    Yes, a guest can leave a tip during the ordering process if they want. Tip rates are typically higher with a digital menu than without. Your staff will thank you.

  • Can also orders be paid which were not placed via MenuTecs?

    No, only orders that were placed via MenuTecs can be paid.

  • How do I set up my menu for orders and payments?

    1. Register your company and create a business account.
    2. Select a plan and conclude the corresponding contract.
    3. Create a menu including products, prices and all other information.
    4. Add a payment account and complete verification as required.
    5. Set up your order interface including areas, tables and users according to the information.
    6. Optionally define rules for your additional sales.
    7. Position a tablet or another device of your choice with internet access near your POS system.
    8. Print out the QR codes of your tables and position them at the respective tables so that they are clearly visible to your guests.
    9. Activate the order and payment feature in the general settings of your menu.
  • Can I customize the design of my digital menu?

    Yes, the desing can be customized according to your wishes. You can upload your logo, define appropriate colors and embed your own font or select from a library.

  • How can I manage my digital menu?

    With our intuitive, web-based management interface, you can enter orders, edit products and make settings from any computer, tablet or smartphone .

  • How and when are payments credited to my company's bank account?

    Payments are automatically transferred to the payment account you registered and verified. All payment processing takes place via our payment provider and is subject to the highest security standards.

  • Do I have to connect MenuTecs to my POS system?

    No, unlike other providers, the advantage of MenuTecs is that it does not require a connection to the POS system. You can start working immediately with any tablet, computer or smartphone. You also have 100% control over what is actually rewarded. At MenuTecs it is not possible for incorrect orders to be credited directly by the guest.

  • How does the registration process work?

    Unlike other providers, MenuTecs does not have a complicated or unnecessarily complex registration process. All you have to do is enter a few details about your company and you can get started. A valid credit card is also required if there are fees for using additional features or if you have selected a plan with a basic monthly fee.

    1. Open your order interface on a tablet or other device of your choice and log in with the defined email address and the associated password.
    2. Complete the two-factor authentication by entering the 6-digit verification code from the email you received.
    3. You and your team process incoming orders and associated payments in real time.
    4. If necessary, export reports and daily financial statements via download or send them by email.
